These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales of vintage Austin pedal cars and related parts by Driven By Vintage (“we”, “us”, “our”) to customers (“you”, “your”).

2. Orders
Placing an Order
You can place an order via our website, by phone, or by email. Before completing your order, you will have the opportunity to review and correct all details including your delivery address.
Order Confirmation
A binding contract is formed when we confirm your order in writing, dispatch the goods, or hand them over at collection — whichever happens first. If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.
Product Descriptions
All items are vintage and used. We describe each item accurately based on its condition at the time of listing. Minor variations from photographs are normal for items of this age and are not considered a defect.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. The price you pay is the price shown at the time you place your order.
If an item is incorrectly priced, we will contact you before processing and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
We accept payment by bank transfer only. Bank details will be provided in your order confirmation email. Please include your order number as the payment reference. Your order will be processed once cleared payment is received in full.
4. Delivery
Delivery Area
We deliver to UK mainland addresses only.
Delivery Cost
A flat delivery fee of £20 applies to all orders. This is shown clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Dispatch Time
We aim to dispatch within 5 working days of receiving cleared payment. We handle all deliveries ourselves. You will receive tracking information and an estimated delivery date once dispatched.
Delivery Requirements
- Your delivery address must be complete and accurate
- Someone aged 18 or over must be available to receive and sign for the delivery
- The delivery location must be accessible for our vehicle
Failed Delivery
If delivery fails due to no one being available, an incorrect address, or access issues, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Additional re-delivery costs will be charged to you. If re-delivery cannot be arranged within 30 days, we may cancel the order and refund the purchase price minus delivery costs incurred.
Collection
You can collect your purchase in person by appointment at our Basingstoke location, free of charge. Contact us to arrange a time and bring proof of identity and your order confirmation.
Risk & Ownership
Risk passes to you on delivery. Ownership remains with us until full payment is received.
5. Returns & Refunds
30-Day Return Policy
You may return items within 30 days of delivery. Contact us at returns@drivenbyvintage.com or call +44 7599 505454 to receive a Return Authorisation (RMA) number before sending anything back.
How to Return
- Obtain your RMA number from us first
- Return the item in its original condition with all packaging and accessories
- Ship via a tracked and insured courier service
- Include your order number and RMA number with the return
- For standard returns, return postage is your responsibility
- For faulty or damaged items reported within 48 hours, we arrange free collection
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 14 days to your original payment method. Full order cancellations are refunded including standard delivery. Partial returns do not include a refund of delivery charges.
Faulty or Damaged Items
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange free collection and offer a repair, replacement, or full refund at no cost to you.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
- Custom-made, modified, or personalised items
- Items made to your specific requirements
- Items used beyond what is necessary to inspect them (unless faulty)
Your Legal Rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
6. Availability
All items are vintage and one-of-a-kind. If an item becomes unavailable after you have ordered, we will contact you immediately to arrange a full refund or discuss alternatives.
7. Liability
We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time of your order, or for losses where we are not at fault. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control including extreme weather, transport disruptions, strikes, or government restrictions. We will contact you as soon as possible to discuss alternatives or a refund.
9. General
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time — the latest version will always be on our website.
