This is an exact copy of the big plain knob that Austin fitted to the very first J40 pedal cars when they left the factory in the early 1950s. Beautiful creamy colour, correct shape and size – it looks just like the originals before they switched to the smaller three-pointed star knob on later cars (that’s our part J499).

It fits the same Lucas headlamp pull switch that every J40 uses. Just unscrew the old knob (or what’s left of it) and screw this one straight on – takes 10 seconds and needs no tools.
